Purchase Process

Step 01. Make Your Pick 

Choose your item and amount, click【ADD TO CART】or【BUY NOW】.

 

Step 02. Checkout

Enter cart and confirm chosen products and amount. Choose【Delivery Method】and click【Choose Date】to continue.

 

Step 03. Checkout Details

Customer Details: Fill in information. Add requests in【Remarks for Shop】.
Delivery or Pickup Date: Select your preferred delivery/pickup date.
Secure Payment: Enter credit card information (3-D secured card required.)
Invoicing & Remarks: Select preferred invoice type (Sent by Email, Donation, or TW Corporate VAT#.). Click【Place Order】to finalize.
 

Step 04. Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser’s mailbox shortly. Please provide a valid email.  

E-Invoice: The e-invoice will be sent to the purchaser’s email within 2-3 hours after order.
Gifts with Peace of Mind: Send heartfelt gifts and rest assured that no pricing information will be included in the package.

◊ Chocolate Gift Box
-Refrigerate within 1 hour of receipt. Use airtight packaging to maintain quality. Keep below 22°C; use insulated bags for transit. Do not freeze.
-Available at boutique and online. For corporate orders, please contact us during business hours.


◊ Four Signature Pastries Set

-Refrigerate within 30 minutes; consume same-day. Cold packs provided; insulated bags recommended for long commutes.

-No delivery for this product. Third-party couriers must collect in-store and provide full order details for verification.
-Call 02-27010792 (11:30–20:00) to order. Closed Wednesdays.
-Made fresh daily. No same-day cancellations or rescheduling. Unclaimed orders by 20:00 will be canceled without refund.

 

◊ Large Cakes
-Refrigerate within 30 minutes; consume same-day. (Box: 23.5 x 23.5 x 12 cm).
-Each order includes one set of candles and tableware (serves 6) upon request.
-Delivery available only for the chocolate tarts: Signature, Fruitiness, Cognac, and Kirsch Brandy. Orders required 3 days in advance.
-Freshly prepared for your pickup date. Unclaimed orders by 20:00 will be canceled without refund.

-Delivery may be suspended during peak seasons to ensure quality.

-Store in a cool, dry place. These items ship via refrigerated courier to ensure quality but can be kept at room temperature upon arrival.

◊ Shipping & Logistics
-During Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year, specific delivery windows cannot be guaranteed. Please plan accordingly.

-We reserve the right to adjust, postpone, or cancel orders due to natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances.

1. Lead times for delivery and pickup

Delivery: Order at least 2 days prior to your desired arrival date (no deliveries on Sundays.)
Boutique Pickup: Order today for next-day pickup.
Large Cake Pickup: Order at least 3 days prior to the pickup date.
Note: We are closed on Wednesdays; couriers do not deliver on Sundays. Please expect an additional 1 day if your schedule overlaps with these days. For urgent requests, call 02-27010792 (11:30–20:00).


2. Date Selection

If a specific date is unavailable during checkout, it is likely due to the lead time being too short/long or falling on a closure (Closed every Wednesday; special closures are announced on Google Maps and Instagram). For urgent inquiries, please call us directly.

 

3. Delayed Deliveries

If your order has not arrived by the scheduled date, contact us at 02-27010792 (11:30–20:00; closed Wednesdays) for immediate assistance.

 

4. Modifying Your Order

To adjust your pickup or delivery time, please call us as early as possible.

Large Desserts Pickups: Changes must be made at least 1 day prior to pickup date. No same-day changes or cancellations.

Courier Delivery: Changes must be made before the order is dispatched. No adjustments can be made once in transit.
 
◊ Boutique Pickup
1. Pickup Hours

12:00–20:00 (Closed Wednesdays).

 

2. Cooling Accessories

Complimentary cold packs are provided with all refrigerated desserts. Insulated bags are not included but are recommended for long-distance travel.

 

3. Pickup-Courier Services

We do not provide pickup-courier services. You may arrange your own third-party courier, provided you have completed ordering and contacted the boutique in advance to confirm pickup details. Please ensure your courier has the customer name and phone number for verification.

Note: Couriers must park and enter the boutique for pickup. Staff are unable to leave the premises for curbside hand-offs.

1. Invoices

Please select your preferred invoice type during checkout (E-invoice, Donation, or Corporate VAT.) E-invoices and Corporate invoices are emailed within 2–3 hours of order completion. If not found, please search "Yu Chocolatier" in your inbox or spam box.

 

2. Price Exposure

Rest assured that no pricing information will be included in the package.

 

3. Purchaser Name

We are obligated to provide the name of the purchaser to the recipient.  

Delivery Policies

1. Lead Time

Orders typically require 2–3 business days for processing. All shipping services are fulfilled via our partner Takkyubin.

 

2. Delivery Scheduling

Preferred delivery dates and time slots can be selected at checkout. Please note that exact timing is subject to local courier logistics; we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific hour. We recommend ensuring the recipient is available throughout the day to receive the package. Yu Chocolatier is not liable for delays caused by the courier.

Peak Seasons: During Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, or other peak periods defined by Takkyubin, delays beyond the scheduled date may occur. Please plan your orders accordingly.
Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone, or cancel shipments at our discretion.


3. Temperature Control

To maintain quality of product against high temperatures in vehicles, all items—including ambient (room temperature) chocolate delights—are shipped via refrigerated delivery. Once received, ambient products may be stored at cool, dry place.

Returns & Exchanges

As our products are fresh food items, they are not eligible for the seven-day cooling-off period. We kindly ask that you check your order immediately upon receipt.

Returns or exchanges are only accepted in cases of product defects, damage during transit, or missing items. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any other reasons.

Report an issue if your order is damaged or defective, please document the issue immediately (photos or video) and keep the product at its original state as our team may schedule a pickup to retrieve it.
